Please inquire via my Contact page or email me at info@juliaromanophotography.com and include your session/wedding requested date, your vision, ideal chosen package, and any details you would like to specify. I will get back to you within 48 hours! The non-refundable 50% retainer deposit (of your package's total) is required to reserve a session or wedding date, along with the signed contract.
Busy seasons book up quickly (early March-mid May, and early September-end of November) so it's recommended to book a session several months in advance if you are requesting a specific date. Sessions are first come first serve with the deposit and contract and I cannot hold dates without those two requirements. Prices and packages are subject to change at any time without notice.
I'm currently nestled in the pines of Flagstaff, Arizona and nearby Sedona. I'm available to travel throughout Arizona, and out-of-state. Portrait sessions will take place on location (outdoors) and once booked I provide a list of recommendations of locations, including local hidden gems that out-of-towners don't know about!
A travel fee will be applied for sessions and weddings outside of the Flagstaff/Sedona area. For certain requested seasons and specific looks (such as fall leaves or yellow summer wildflowers) please reach out in advance!
Being a natural light photographer, lighting is the key factor for my photography. I want your photos to look the best they can be in ideal lighting and weather! Sessions tend to begin in the early evenings in spring/summer and late afternoons in fall/winter. Mornings sessions are only offered in April and October.
Specific requests for certain lighting or natural scenery cannot be guaranteed based on season and weather (such as fall leaves or wildflowers). Northern Arizona's weather can be unpredictable, during wintertime I take on limited sessions due to being contingent on weather and road conditions. Safety is a top priority for everyone!
Yes! Feel free to bring any fun props or your four-legged animals to your session free of charge, but please let me know in advance if you are bringing your pet(s). These are your photos to look back on, so you can bring any fun props or items with meaning to your session that are memorable to you! These can range from holiday props, to your dirt bikes you like to ride with your partner, balloons, picnic setup, a hammock, confetti or champagne to pop, etc. Props are not provided for sessions, you must bring your own.
If needed, I will send you an outfit guide prior to your session date to help with outfit inspiration and tips for all session types. You're welcome to ask or send me outfit options if you need help choosing. I suggest bringing your outfits, touch-up makeup, and a brush/comb in a bag to carry. Some clients prefer getting their hair & makeup professionally done by a stylist (salon recommendations can be offered). Your friend, partner, or parent can come along to help with touch-ups, carry your bag, and for support to cheer you on! Please limit your "helpers" to 1-2 people. Cap & gowns are not provided for senior sessions, please bring all your own props and attire for your session.
My clients receive, download, and view their images through an online private gallery called Pixieset, with instructions which will allow you to download high resoluation images to your phone or computer, and order prints directly within the gallery store. The average turnaround for portrait galleries is 2-3 weeks, and for wedding galleries is 6-12 weeks. Sneak peeks for weddings are sent within 1-2 weeks. Sneak peeks are not offered for portrait sessions.
It's not common for professional photographers to give unedited images due to representation of our brand, photography style, Copyright, and the client's usage rights. I don't outsource my editing and take my time in the process to make sure the photos look the best they can be. My editing style is timeliness, bright, warm, vibrant in color. The images you see on my social media and website are similar to what you will receive in exposure and color tones.
No session can be exactly duplicated due to natural factors such as weather, lighting, location, and season can vary the images result and overall look.
Frequently Asked Questions
Yes! Prints, canvases, and cards (holiday, graduation invitations or save-the-dates) can be ordered directly within your client online gallery store (via the connected lab). Custom photo albums can be ordered upon request. I recommend ordering through the gallery store to ensure quality and correct color calibration for the best outcome for your printing needs.
Other print stores or companies may negatively impact the result of the images being a cheaper quality or printer that is not calibrated correctly.
