What If We Need To Reschedule?

Please inquire or email me at info@juliaromanophotography.com and include your session/wedding requested date, your vision, ideal chosen package, and any details you would like to specify. I will get back to you within 48 hours! The non-refundable 25% retainer deposit (from the total package) is required to reserve a session or wedding date, along with the signed wedding contract agreement for weddings. Busy seasons book up quickly (early March-early May, and early September-end of November) so it's recommended to book a session several weeks or months in advance, if you are requesting a specific date. Sessions are first come first serve by who pays the deposit to reserve first. I'm unable to hold a session request without the required deposit for both sessions and weddings. Prices are subject to change at any time without notice.

I'm currently nestled in the pines of Flagstaff, Arizona and love traveling! I'm available to travel throughout Arizona and out-of-state. Although mainly photoshoots take place on location (outdoors) and I do not have an indoor studio space, I can offer to photograph in-home lifestyle sessions. A travel fee will be applied for sessions and weddings outside of Flagstaff. Any additional fees will be in incurred depending on milage/travel time, accommodation (usually for weddings), permits, parking or entry fees are required for your requested location. The session location choice is up to you! I have pre-sought location recommendations all over Arizona and offer a list of locations. If you have a specific location or season in mind (for example the iconic yellow sunflowers which bloom only mid-August here in Flagstaff) it is recommended to contact me in advance! Weekends book up quickly; spring and fall are the busiest month of the year and get booked well in advance!

Lighting is the most important element of a picture, especially being a natural light photographer. I want your photos to look the best they can be in ideal lighting and weather! I photograph in gorgeous natural light, usually recommended to begin sessions in the late afternoons/early evenings, the start time *will depend* on the season of the year (i.e. the sun rises earlier and sets later in the spring & summer, and rises later and sets earlier in the fall & winter). During my busiest months I will offer sessions in the mornings in April and October to take on more sessions! But I don't photograph mornings any other months due to lighting and cold weather. Specific lighting, weather, scenery or environments cannot be guaranteed on any given day (wild flowers, fall leaves, sunny days, etc.). During wintertime I take on limited sessions due to being contingent on weather and road conditions. Safety is a top priority for everyone!

Yes! Feel free to bring any fun props or your four-legged animals to your session free of charge, but please let me know in advance if you are bringing your pet(s). These are your photos to look back on, so you can bring any fun props or items with meaning to your session that are memorable to you! These can range from holiday props, to your dirt bikes you like to ride with your partner, balloons, picnic setup, a hammock, confetti or champagne to pop, etc. Props are not provided for sessions, you must bring your own.

I will send you an outfit guide prior to your session date to help with outfit inspiration and tips for all session types. You're welcome to ask or send me outfit options if you need help choosing. I suggest bringing your outfits, touch-up makeup, and a brush/comb in a bag to carry. Some clients prefer getting their hair & makeup professionally done by a stylist. Your friend, partner, or parent can come along to help with touch-ups, carry your bag, and for support to cheer you on! Please limit your "helpers" to two people. Cap & gowns are not provided for senior sessions, you must bring all your own props and attire for your session.

My clients receive, download, and view their images through an online private gallery called Pixieset, with instructions which will allow you to download images to your phone or computer, and order prints directly within the gallery store. The average turnaround for portrait galleries is 2-3 weeks, and for wedding galleries is 6-12 weeks. Sneak peeks for weddings are sent within 1-2 weeks, sneak peeks aren't given for portrait sessions. The gallery allows easy access for ordering print/canvases, downloading digital images, and sharing with family for personal usage. Session and weddings galleries are online for at one year. If you would like to extend your gallery or  your images uploaded onto a new gallery in the future there is an archival fee. Client understand it is their responsibility to download and backup their images, it's not the photographer's job to achieve your images for the foreseen future after delivery.

I, being the one who clicks the camera, own the copyrights legally as the photographer. You are able to use the images for personal usage, which is defined and limited to personal usage for; social media accounts, decor in the home, personal cards, etc. The photographs cannot be used for any contests, tax/income, sales, marketing, promotion, commercial use, etc. Upon booking you will sign a contract, which includes a model release to release your photos for usage under my website and social media platforms. If for any reason you are wanting to use your images for anything else, please inform me and we can discuss the details of separate documentation prior to your session.

It's uncommon for professional photographers to give unedited/RAW images. As a professional, my images represent my business brand, and photography style in which I only give images that I have edited/retouched to stay within my branding and do not give any unedited images to any clients, all clients are treated equally.  I will not send you photos to choose from and I don't outsource my editing. My entire editing process takes time in my specialized style (several hours for a single session), so it's required that you do not additionally edit the images yourself or add filters. My editing style is timeless, warm, bright and vibrant. The images you see on my website and social media are what you will similarly receive in exposure and color tones. No session/image result is the same look, every session is slightly unique in the editing process given the time of day, location, season, scenery, weather/lighting. A specific scenery, environment, or weather cannot be guaranteed on any given day.

Prints, canvases, and cards (holiday, graduation invitations or save-the-dates) can be ordered directly within your client online gallery store. It is recommended to print within the gallery store for the best possible quality and color result. Other print centers or companies may negatively impact the quality; pixelation distortion, saturating color, etc. Clients are given freedom to print their images anywhere (for personal use only), but Julia Romano Photography does not have any affiliations with other companies nor is responsible if other print companies or centers are not up to standard with quality, coloring, pricing, or if you have issues with another print company's print results. Custom photo albums can be ordered upon request. The album design process is a full service creation by Julia Romano Photography and a proof is sent to confirm with you. Many cover options and additions are available.

There is a reschedule fee for session reschedules due to non-weather related reasons. I'm always checking the forecast to keep my clients updated on weather since Flagstaff/Arizona's weather can be unpredictable. If the weather is bad leading up to your session, we can reschedule at no cost upon my availability. For weddings, please refer to your wedding contract. If we cannot pick a replacement date and time for your requested reschedule, your deposit can be refunded. But please keep in mind refunds hurts small business, as well I have to turn other clients away for the same requested date/slot time and cannot book another session within a limited timeframe to be filled. Spring and fall seasons are highly requested for sessions and sometimes are booked 6+ months in advance.
